Next to the turnstiles, a walk-through gate provides access to people who have larger items with them, for instance equipment. In case of emergencies, the walk-through gate can act as an extra emergency exit to ensure swift evacuation. The integrated porter's lodge with fixed desk is ideal for monitoring visitors and personnel entering through the turnstiles. The Control Gate XL is often also installed with the PC configuration and IQ-Soft for creating personalised passes that give access to the unit.
